How Do I Join?

Please feel free to contact us via the link located on the left. This will send an email to Jeff Braeunig, the Cubmaster, who will follow up with you.

Our dues are $100.00 per year and are prorated based on when you join. We also offer scholarships to the pack based on need. We will not turn away a boy who wants to be a Cub Scout.

Our calendar of upcoming events is listed to the right and an overview of announcements is below. The calendar is completely accessible only when you login.

Pack Bike Ride July23rd at 8:30AM

Please join us for a Pack bike ride on the Swamp Rabbit trail on Saturday morning July 23rd starting at 8:30AM.

 

We will leave from a parking lot on Mayberry St. just north of the Kroc Center and AJ Whittenberg elementary off of Academy St.  See the attached map.  If you use GPS use the address for Swamp Rabbit cross fit:

Uniform: Class B

Location: Advent UMC Parking Lot

Agenda:

8:30 – check-in and safety inspection
Please check your bikes over beforehand to make sure they are in good working order. We will show the boys how to pump tires, lube a chain, and safety check a bike. We will not have a dedicated bike mechanic.

9:00 – Bike rodeo events

Come test your bike riding skills in a series of drill designed to help everyone improve their bike handling.
We will do these as a round robin or a group, depending on how many folks we have. We will need some help with the stations from parents.

Scout Night with the Greenville Drive - Sign Up Ends May 26th.

Our first summer activity will be to go as a group to Scout Night with the Greenville Drive on Sunday, June 12th. See the attached flyer and Sign up with the EventBrite link below to get in on the group rate.

On Sunday, June 12th at 4:00 PM the Greenville Drive will celebrate Boy Scout Night at Fluor Field, featuring the people programs, and accomplishments of the Boy Scouts of America, Blue Ridge Council.

All Scouts will receive a special Greenville Drive Commemorative Patch, recognition on the Drive Vision Board, a Survival Training Challenge Workbook experience, and a chance to participate in on-field entertainment throughout the evening.

Tickets are $7.00 per person and include a patch for the scouts.
Children ages 2 and under receive complimentary admission to Fluor Field.

National Trails Day Hike

National Trails Day - Pack 733 & 833

On Saturday, June 4th, 2016 Pack 733 & 833 will be participating in National Trails Day at Croft State Park.  We will be doing a hike at 10:00 am between 2.0 - 3.9 miles and the Palmetto Conservation Foundation will be providing lunch afterwards.  After lunch there will be a short ride/obstacle course activity for those that would like to bring their mountain bikes and helmets starting at 2:30 pm.

Spring Camping Information

May 6th - May 8th, Pack 833 will have our spring campout. We will be camping at Paris Mountain State Park at Camp Buckhorn. There are a handful of cabins available at Camp Buckhorn that will be made available to our families if you meet certain criteria to maximize the space we have available. During this event, we will also be conducting our Graduation Ceremonies.

April Pack Meeting & Crossover

Our April Pack Meeting will not be held on 4/10/16 as usual.  We will meeting instead on SATURDAY 4/16/16 at Hartness International.  We will be participating in the Crossover Ceremony for Den 8's Webelos.  Please join us that Saturday night for this special ceremony.
